After an early breakfast, we will cross the Maasai Steppe on our way to Tarangire National Park. Tanzania’s fourth largest and one of its most diverse parks. Its landscape is dotted by the huge iconic baobab tree. Elephants, buffalos and giraffes are seen easily, unbothered by our presence and going about their daily routines. Its abundance of wildlife also includes, Lions, Leopards, Oryx, Dik diks, and a wide range of birds species. It’s even possible to spot huge pythons on top of the trees.

We’ll meander along bush tracks and explore the Tarangire River’s twists and turns, finding elephants drinking and playing in the refreshing waters.

Day 3 - Lake Manyara National Park
An early morning game drive is worth taking if you wish, and then we will drive to Lake Manyara for mid morning to sunset game drives.

Lake Manyara is a small beautiful national park famous for the legendary tree climbing lions and many other large and small mammals. Driving through the lush garden is a gentle reminder that you are now in Africa. Exotic birdcalls fill the air.

Lunch can be served at the numerous picnic sites in the park, or you may choose a hot lunch at the lodge before returning for game drives in the afternoon.

Zebras, Wildebeests, Bushbucks, Dik-diks and Guinea fowls regularly cross the path for your delight. We’ll meander along bush tracks and explore the Lake, which is home to thousands of Flamingos.

Game drive during sunset hours can be arranged before heading to the accommodation.

Day 4 - Lake Eyasi Bushmen Trail
Early breakfast at 6:00am then depart to Lake Eyasi Village for the Bushmen tour.

This ancient tribe only survive by eating wild fruits and meat. There you will also have the chance to have a cultural interaction with the Tatoga tribe (a very interesting one). Our Tatoga guide at the village will lead the tour.

Visit the Onion plantation which supplies onions over East Africa since years and years now. Hadzabe people (Bushmen) will give you the possibility of going out for a short hunting expedition with them in the evening before dinner, which will make you feel as though you’re living as an authentic bushmen in the remote past. Only bows and arrows will be used. The Bushmen hunt baboons and other small mammals. They don’t build houses, as they live in caves and in makeshift shelters.

Day 5 - Serengeti National Park
Wake up early in the morning and take a cup of fresh brewed Tanzanian coffee. Then we will make our way to Serengeti National Park, heading in a northwesterly direction.

Serengeti, which means endless plain in Maasai language, is a well-known paradise for wildlife, quite a bit bigger than the landmass of Jamaica, and famous for great migrations and its vast natural diversity. Your first game safari in Serengeti will not let you down!

Day 6 - Serengeti National Park
On this day you will have the chance of going for a morning game drive at dawn (if you wish) to see nocturnal animals retiring and the diurnal species waking up for a new day under the beautiful African rising sun. You will then go back to the lodge/camp for breakfast then leave with a lunch box for a full day of game drives on the endless plains of Serengeti.

Depending on the months of travel, you may witness the Great Migration that involves the movement of over a million and a half Wildebeests together with Zebras and Gazelles in what is the largest mass movement of animals on the planet. Serengeti ecosystem is also home of Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Cheetahs, Buffalos, Elands, Wild dogs, Crocodiles and more. Also destination for lots of Eurasia migrants birds.

We will enjoy the gorge landscape and visit the small museum to view some of the incredible finds of Drs. Louis and Mary Leakey.

Day 8 - Arusha
Rise early for breakfast before we spend a full day exploring the crater floor. This volcanic crater is one of the largest caldera in the world. Ngorongoro is said to have the highest density of wildlife in Africa, so you can admire many animal species together. That’s the reason why it’s one of the only places on earth where you may see all of the Big Five at once: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, African Buffalo and Black Rhino. To maximize your time on the crater floor you will enjoy a special boxed lunch at a scenic picnic spot.
